If you want flashy rides and exciting things to do- then don't come here. If you want quiet times reflecting on the past and walking the land or beaches, then is is for you. The building is very uninviting; not sure if I go in or not and whats in there- stick to outside.

Don't be confused. There's no fort to see here. Just the location where two forts were years ago. There are some very nice walking trails, though, and a good view of Charlottetown across the river. There are also two small lighthouses on the grounds: Warren Cove Front Range Lighthouse and Warren Cove Back Range Lighthouse. Both are easily accessible via well-maintained gravel paths.

Stumbled upon this isolated historic spot while driving around to keep out of the rain in Charlottetown on Canada Day 150. One of many Acadian sites originally established by the French then lost to the British. Home to a pair of range lights (never knew what those were before) and a memorial to the Great Deportation. Great view of Charlottetown harbour from a distance.

A lovely historical park, there are old fortress earthworks, rangelights (lighthouses), trails for hiking, biking, and jogging, and of course great views of the sea. During my visit I saw all these, and watched the finishing of a wigwam by some Mik'maq elders. Rangers also offered samples of cedar tea and traditional first nations bread.
